CULTURE POINT #13 – GRATITUDE

“I am a truly grateful person. I say thank you and show appreciation often and in many ways, so that all around me know how much I appreciate everything and everyone I have in my life. I celebrate my wins and the wins of my clients and team. I consistently catch myself and other people doing things right.”

Why Gratitude Matters at Gutter Solutions

  1. When we recognize one another’s efforts, people feel valued and know their work matters.
  2. Gratitude improves the customer experience.
Appreciating our customers—and the opportunity to serve them—helps us treat every job with care and respect.
  3. Gratitude creates a positive workplace.
Looking for what is going right helps us face challenges with a better attitude and enjoy working together.

TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

IVAN GADBERRY

Ivan joined Gutter Solutions at age 18 and has now been with the company for more than six years. During that time, he has grown into one of our key technicians and a valued member of the team.

Ivan consistently comes to work with an upbeat, positive attitude. His experience, reliability, and willingness to work, contributes to the success of Gutter Solutions.

When Ivan was asked what he was grateful for, he said:

“The smoke is gone and rain is on its way.”

That simple statement reminds us that gratitude does not have to be complicated. It begins by noticing and appreciating the good things around us.

Thank you, Ivan, for your positive attitude, years of service, and important contribution to Gutter Solutions!

CHALLENGE FOR THE DAY

Catch someone doing something right.

Before the day ends, personally thank a teammate for something specific they did well. Let them know their work is noticed, valued, and appreciated.

Gratitude is most powerful when we express it.
